The Unexpected Pitbull
One of my favourite xmas presents this year was the 2008 Unexpected Pitbull Calendar. This calendar is absolutely beautifully photographed, and raises funds for pitbull advocacy and rescue.
The American PitBull Terrier scored an 84.1% on the 2006 American Temperment Test (521 dogs tested: 437 passed, 84 failed), while, for some comparison, the Golden Retriever scored 83.8% (687 dogs tested: 576 passed, 111 failed). (http://www.atts.org/)

I usually refuse to take part in the new year resolution thing, but I decided this year, I would start the year off by kicking myself in the ass and doing what I've been planning on doing for a couple months now...
BLOGGING....
Fuck me. Blogs suck, so why am I doing this? Even the word makes me cringe. I normally roll my eyes at the concept and I'm already feeling like I need to figure out where the stinkin' delete button is on this drupal software (which is quite wacky, btw..but more on that later.)
So, really...why am I doing this? Well, partially for myself, partially for what few friends/family I have out there that give a shit, and mostly because I'm a sucker for punishment.
One thing I'm not going to do is bore you with the inane details of my life (what I had for supper, what color is my underwear), but instead I'll write about the stuff I find interesting. Ha! So, expect alot of chat about movies, video games, music, books....mixed with the odd link or recommendation or rant, and yeah okay, occasional inane detail. But no underwear.
